2012 Calendars

I have been busy making calendars for next year!!...I just love making these little things!!...there are so many different ways to make them...different shapes...colors...embellies!!...etc!!...

Here is the first one I finished:

and here are a couple of the inner pages:

I have a big tin full of old buttons...and I hoard them...LOL!!...don't tell anyone!!...I did use some on this calendar!!...I really like the flower button in the above photo!!...I think that the cardstock used on this calendar are from DCWV...I used one of the new Nellie Snellen dies for the base...I made the calendar using Microsoft excel...I laid one calendar out...got everything like I wanted...and then copied and pasted several times in the same document...now all I have to do is open the file...select the font I want to use on each calendar and then send to printer!...Easy...Peasy!!

and the second one I have to share:

and a couple of inner pages:

The base of this calendar is Bazzill...the pattern paper is from the Paper Studio...the edges were inked with Copics...I used Nesties to cut the shape...The flowers are Prima...I colored the blue, green and purple ones to match the calendar...the brads and ribbons are from my stash...I used stickles on the brads...and a glitter pen on the flowers to add a little sparkle!!

That's it for today!!...Have a great night!!

Calendar and Gift Bag

There is a contest going on at Oh My Crafts blog spot. All you have to do is use an item purchased from OMC.

I used the nestibilities I purchased to make the below calendar.

I finally took pictures of the calendar I was working on and I also made my first gift bag!
The pictures aren't the best. I just got a new camera and am still figuring it out! So please excuse the bad photos!

The calendar I made is for my DD's little soroity sister. I started the calendar at August and went through July. I figured why start it at January of this year, when she receives it the year will be almost gone!

Here are the pictures!

This is the gift bag for the calendar.

That's calendar #1, I have about nine more to go!

Have a great day!
